Full-flavoured rye with medium body and intensity, it perfectly balances the rye spice and vanilla oak influence.
NOSE: Buttery dark rye bread, with hints of spice and light toffee.
PALATE: Caramel vanilla, sweet allspice, clove, pepper and green apple.
FINISH: Dried red fruit and crème caramel, with woody spices.
HOW TO DRINK: Drink neat, on the rocks or as a great base to a Red Hook or Old Fashioned cocktail.

The Gospel Straight Rye Whiskey is the first Australian whiskey that is legally labelled as ‘Straight’, due to the strict distillation and maturation process required and is typical of American whiskeys.
Made using 100% Australian grown un-malted rye from a single farm in the Murray Mallee region of South Australia, one of the driest regions of the driest country in the world, The Gospel Straight Rye Whiskey is full of the character from the soil from which it originated.
The whiskey is double distilled and then aged for at least two years in charred, new American oak barrels in Melbourne, Australia. Our high-quality barrels are sourced from a cooperage in Kentucky, USA, who obtain the oak from a single forest. They are heavily toasted with varying char levels – a formula we developed after years of trialling different combinations – resulting in a medium bodied whiskey that perfectly balances the rye spice and vanilla oak influence.
The Gospel Straight Rye Whiskey embodies the characteristics of traditional rye whiskey while having a nuance that is distinctly Australian.
